PHASE II
GOALS:
Obtain a
neutral pelvis through repositioning techniques.
Maintain a neutral pelvic position through increased retraining.
Increase pelvic stability through Phase II Open-Chain Exercises.
•
4 - 6 Sessions (over two weeks)
• In each session, the patient will:
a. Perform Protonics Neuromuscular Repositioning
Techniques with the
Protonics System
b. Use the Protonics Gait Trainer Treadmill (Phase II
Program) while wearing
the Protonics System
• Open-Chain Exercises for Home
• Once a week, during Phase II, the Hip Adduction, Leg Length
Discrepancy and
Straight Leg Raise Tests will be administered and the data recorded
PHASE III
GOALS:

maintain a neutral pelvis through activities that require more
strength and
stability.

Strengthening Exercises.

Therapy on a periodic basis is required, and at what frequency.During this
session, patients will perform:
• Gait and Balance Analysis Tests
• Pre / Post Hip Adduction, Leg Length Discrepency and Straight Leg
Raise
Tests
• Protonics Neuromuscular Repositioning (using the Protonics System)
• Protonics Gait Training using the Protonics System and Gait Trainer
Treadmill
(Phase III Program)
