How it Works

The brain and nervous system controls and mediates all functions of the body, including all movements and muscle activity.

For example:  When you take a step forward, rather than thinking consciously about every muscle you must contract to make your leg move, your brain activates specific nerves that make muscles contract and relax in the right sequence to take that step.

If, however, your brain has been forced to change your walking pattern to compensate for knee, back, hip or other injuries/strains, or you did not learn the optimum walking pattern, the way your muscles activate during walking and other functional activities could be causing or contributing to many problems you may be experiencing.
